tONY HUBER
Australian consul general, mumbai

Mr Huber is an experienced career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Before coming to Mumbai, he has served overseas as Australia’s Deputy High Commissioner, Ottawa and First Secretary, New Delhi. Mr Huber was earlier seconded from DFAT as a policy adviser to the US Congress Committee on Ways and Means staff, Washington DC.

In Canberra, Mr Huber has served in a range of positions, including as Director of India Economic and Indian Ocean Rim Association Section; Director, Pacific Bilateral Section; Director, Regional Trade Policy Section; and Director Consular Information and Crisis Management Section.

Mr Huber holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Canberra and a Graduate Diploma in Foreign Affairs and Trade from the Australian National University. More information.

Ralph hays
New Zealand Trade Commissioner and Consul General, Mumbai

Ralph is Trade Commissioner and Consul General based in Mumbai, India, where he leads NZTE’s activity in south India and Sri Lanka.

Ralph has been with NZTE for 7 years and during this time has been Trade Commissioner based in Sao Paulo and a Business Development Manager for Spain and Portugal based in Madrid.

Ralph hails from Invercargill and has a Master of Business Administration from Massey University. Before joining NZTE, Ralph worked in the finance and health sectors in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and Spain. Previous experience includes working as a Management Accountant in the airline industry for 5 years and as a business analyst in the cruise industry. Ralph is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
